Get told when something happens

An alert to you when a booking or an order arrives.

Messages go to the project owner only. Sending to your customers needs template approval and consent handling that you arrange with the carrier — that part is not open yet.

What you need first

Know who is being told, and about what.

  • The event worth interrupting you for — a new booking, an order, an urgent enquiry.
  • Your own phone number or email address as the receiver.
  • For KakaoTalk business messages, an approved template from the carrier.

01 · Pick the moment

Alerts are worth having when you would otherwise miss something. A new booking at midnight is worth an alert. A page view is not. Too many alerts and you stop reading them.

02 · Ask for it in one sentence

“Send me a message when a new booking comes in.” Email, SMS and business messages all go through one path, so switching between them later is a small change rather than a rebuild.

03 · Know who can receive it

Today the receiver is the project owner — you. The app cannot be pointed at a customer's number. That is deliberate: sending to a stranger's phone needs their consent on record, and that record is not something the app can invent.

04 · Check the daily limit

Notifications are capped at 200 a day per project. That is generous for owner alerts and deliberately not enough to run a marketing campaign from.

05 · Test it before you rely on it

Make a booking on the preview yourself and see whether the message arrives. Until your carrier keys are in, the app shows you what it would have sent instead of quietly sending nothing.

You are done whenYou make a test booking and the alert reaches your own phone or inbox with the right details in it.

If you get stuck

I want to send a confirmation to the customer. Not yet. The receiver is fixed to the project owner. Show the confirmation on screen and, if you have the customer's email, send it as a transactional email instead.

Nothing arrived. Check that your carrier keys are in the project secrets screen, and that you are not past the 200-a-day limit. Failures are written down with a reason rather than swallowed.

Do I need approval for KakaoTalk? Yes. Business message templates are reviewed by the carrier, and consent for marketing messages is a separate obligation. Both are between you and them.
